Happy Monday, friends!
How was your weekend? It didn’t end up being quite as warm as I’d hoped the past few days but still warm enough to get out and enjoy touring around a bit more. We headed back up to Birmingham to walk around the city and check out a few new spots, like the museum and art gallery and the Jewellery Quarter of town.
I wanted an outfit that was both comfy and put together enough to walk go to the art gallery and other shops, so I reached again for my favorite versatile dress – this black bodycon midi dress.
It’s really the perfect dress for traveling because it can easily be dressed up or down (see it styled for a baseball game here) or in between for a weekend look, like here. Comfy shoes are also another must-we walked 23,000 steps on Saturday-so I’ve been wearing theseĀ booties non-stop. They’re starting to get a little worse for the wear from all of the walking in wet weather around here, but have held up really well for the most part since I got them a few years ago.
This exact dress is sold out unfortunately, but I’ve rounded up a ton of similar items to shop from at the end of the post. It’s from Nordstrom by a brand called Leith, who also happens to make another versatile “it” dress of the season that comes in a ton of cute colors – this sleeveless version or this long sleeve version. Pair with booties or riding boots and a chunky blanket scarf for the perfect fall outfit. If I were in the U.S., I would have ordered one of each by now – plus, it’s under $60!
