I have a much more limited wardrobe here in England since I could only take so much with me in my suitcases and I’m on a strict shopping ban until I can get a job. However, when I was packing, I knew these black joggers had to come with me because they are just so versatile.
I purchased them a few months ago on ThredUp and love that they can be styled up for work with a blazer and heels or for a more casual day out, like with this athletic tank and sneakers here.
I definitely have to think more about putting together outfits I can do a lot of walking in at the moment, since our feet are our made mode of transportation and who knows how long we’ll be out once we leave the apartment for the day.
On this day, we walked down to a local park and had lunch before stumbling on this little hidden gateway that reminded me of something out of the Secret Garden. Our neighborhood itself is a mix of more run down terraced houses (townhouses) and apartments and some more remodeled ones, but we love the location so far. It’s also fascinating to be surrounded by so much history – I felt that way in Virginia too, but here, even the history of the local park dates back many centuries and was once the site of a Knights Templar structure, which is crazy to think about.
