We’ve had a few cooler mornings lately and with moving to a cooler climate soon anyway, I’ve got fall on my mind. Many stores have already released some of their fall new arrivals and it’s just a matter of time before the rest do as well. My goal this fall is to only had the most versatile pieces to wardrobe so I can still get use of them while the temperatures are a bit warmer as well.
So today, I’ve rounded up a few trends/pieces that I know I’ll be on the look-out for for fall, and some that I already have added to my wardrobe.
Embroidery. I wore a lot of embroidered pieces this summer and from what I’ve seen, this trend isn’t going away anytime soon- I can’t say I’m too upset about that!
Lace. Lace and other luxe fabrics are a great way to add fall texture without too much weight or added warmth. Wear them sheer now and layer for fall.
Bell Sleeves. This is another trend that was big during the summer that you can really start rocking once the cooler temps kick in. Play around with how much flair you want as they can get in the way of normal day activities (probably not great to wear on pasta night!).
Mules. I recently bought my first pair of mules and I’m obsessed with them. They’re so easy to dress up/down and they instantly add more style to any outfit.
Midi Dresses. With my short frame, I figured midi dresses were not a trend I could actually wear but I’ve found that I love the flowy, easy nature of them – who cares about anything else!
