Happy Tuesday, friends!
How was your weekend (and Monday)?? We had a whirlwind of a few days, with finals immediately followed by graduation and lots of family in town to celebrate, so I was a little MIA from the blog in order to be present with my family. It was so amazing to have everyone in town, if just for a few days, and made the event even more special–I officially have my master’s degree in communication and Jeff has his Ph.D. in chemistry!
I wore this look for an afternoon of wine tasting. The weather had been a bit unpredictable, so I wanted to layer for warmth and dress down this gorgeous Joie maxi dress with a (faux) leather jacket and studded black gladiator sandals. I purchased this dress thrifted a few months ago–I’m in love with it and am trying to make it as versatile as possible to get more wear. Yellow isn’t a color I naturally gravitate toward but this shade and the ombre effect were speaking to me.
We’ll be in Virginia for two more months to pack up and get ready for the big move. We have a lot to accomplish but are both just trying to soak it all in and are beyond excited for our upcoming UK adventure!
