Since I had some credit burning a hole in my pocket, I decided to order a Spring Stitch Fix for some style inspiration. I pretended (seriously, this is what my life is coming to!) that I was heading somewhere tropical and asked for lots of prints and boho inspired pieces.
For those of you who don’t know, Stitch Fix is an online shopping service where you fill out a style profile, pay $20, and then a stylist chooses clothing items based on your preferences and requests and ships them to you on the requested date. If you choose to keep something, you receive the $20 styling fee back in terms of $20 off the item purchased. If you happen to purchase all 5 items, you also receive 25% off your total purchase!
Here are the items my stylist chose for me:
Collective Concepts Krissa Keyhole Halter Blouse. I think this blouse would be super cute on the right person + skin tone but it just didn’t work for me.
Level 99 Josh Denim Short. I love a good pair of denim shorts but actually just ordered a super distressed pair on Poshmark, so had to pass on these. They also ran a little big.
Papermoon Lyle Reversible Cami Blouse. I love the concept of this blouse–it’s reversible!–especially for traveling, but the shape wasn’t doing me any favors.
THML Savalas Embroidery Top. I am obsessed with this top! The embroidery detail is super cute and the fabric (rayon) is soft and cozy. I ended up exchanging for a smaller size (love that you can do that now!) since the fit was a little boxy.
Loveappella Alexi Knit Maxi Dress. I’ve seen these Loveappella dresses around and love them on other people, but wasn’t loving it for me. I do appreciate that you can wear a real bra with it, though!
Overall, there were definitely some hits and misses but I’m super excited about the one piece I chose to keep and can’t wait to style it once it warms back up again!
