Happy Monday, friends!
I hope you had a wonderful weekend! I am finally done with the semester and my first year of grad school–one more to go, hooray! We spent the weekend celebrating by cooking, which is always my favorite, and getting outside and going on a nice long hike, which was just what I needed after the craziness of last week.
Being on a college campus, coffee is pretty much everywhere and when Starbucks was having their half off frappuccino happy hour the past few weeks, everyone was walking around with these huge amazing looking coffee drinks.
But a quick little Google search told me that ordering one was out of the question (a tall has almost 60 grams of sugar!), so I set out to make my own, with a little Aloha protein powder and matcha green tea powder to boot.
It was a much better option and still totally delicious!
Vanilla Matcha Protein Frappuccino
1 teaspoon matcha green tea powder
1 teaspoon stevia (1 packet)
1.5 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
Place all ingredients in a high powered blender and fill remaining space with ice. Pulse until you get a thick, icy texture.
