Happy Monday, friends!
How was your weekend? I was busy finishing up an article (info to come soon!) plus lots of school work which was actually fine since it SNOWED on Saturday! Seriously, can spring just really be here already, I’m starting to lose hope!
This oatmeal recipe is a perfect snowed in breakfast option, though, and a good way to still enjoy your house-ridden day. I’ll take anything at this point!
I also had it as a snack in between work and classes and it was a perfect indulgent tasting but nutritious pick me up.
Peanut Butter Chocolate Oatmeal
1/2 cup quick raw oats
2 tablespoon ground flaxseed
1 tablespoon peanut butter
1 tablespoon cacao nibs
1 teaspoon maple syrup
Cook oatmeal according to package directions.
When the oatmeal is almost done, stir in flaxseed, peanut butter, cacao nibs, and maple syrup.
Serve immediately, and enjoy!
