I hesitate to label these brownies because that might set unrealistic expectations, for as you can see from the photos, they most certainly aren’t brownies. However, the chocolate-y flavor and gooey texture makes them such a good brownie craving recipe that we’ll just go with that, shall we?
Make sure to use peanut butter where the only ingredient is well, peanuts. It can be a bit hard to find out of the natural food section but our local grocery store’s store brand makes a version that they sell for less than $2 so it’s definitely possible to find.
I also used cacao powder, or raw cocoa powder, or an extra health kick but feel free to substitute with what you have on hand.

Healthy Vegan Brownies
3 ripe bananas
1/2 cup crunch peanut butter
3 tablespoon cacao powder
1/4 cup cacao nibs
1 tablespoon maple syrup
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 dash cinnamon
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees and grease a small baking pan.
Mash bananas in a large mixing bowl.
Stir in peanut butter, cacao powder, cacao nibs, maple syrup, baking soda, and cinnamon and mix until combined.
Pour brownie mixture into the baking pan and place in oven.
Bake for 22-25 minutes, or until edges begin to brown. Let sit to cool before cutting and eating.
