These steel cut oats are seriously like eating dessert for breakfast. And even better, the decadent chocolate flavor completely hides the fact that it is actually perfectly good for you!
I received this chocolate coconut peanut butter for Christmas and it is one of the most delicious products ever. I made a smoothie with it the first time and though it was amazing, I decided I needed something a little more seasonal (i.e. warmer) to add it to.
The ingredients are great too and completely fit in with the Barre3 Challenge requirements: roasted peanuts, coconut, organic agave, unsweetened dark chocolate, and sea salt.
I can’t wait to enjoy this all week!
Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Steel Cut Oats

1/2 cup water
1 ripe banana, chopped
2 tablespoons ground flaxseed
1 tablespoon chocolate coconut peanut butter
1/2 cup raisins
cacao nibs, for topping
Combine steel cut oats, nut milk, and water in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, cover, and reduce to a simmer, stirring often.
After about 10 minutes, stir in banana, continuing to stir often.
After another 5 minutes, stir in flaxseed, chocolate coconut peanut butter, and raisins. Continue to simmer for another few minutes.
Serve topped with a few cacao nibs, if desired, and enjoy!
