Every once and awhile, I create a sauce or dressing as part of another recipe that is just too good not to share on its own.
So while you’ll have to wait till Monday for the rest of this recipe, you can start using the vinaigrette on, well, pretty much anything while you wait!
I don’t usually add sweeteners to my vinaigrettes, but the maple syrup here really cuts the lime and adds a complexity to the dressing that just couldn’t be achieved otherwise.
I can’t wait to make another batch of this!
Cumin Lime Vinaigrette
1 lime, juiced
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon maple syrup
1/4 teaspoon cumin
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste
Whisk together all ingredients in a small bowl. Store in the fridge or use immediately on salad, quinoa, meat, etc.
Time: 5 minutes
