Hi everyone! I am finally starting to feel better after this whole concussion thing, so I’m hoping to slowly get back into blogging this week. Computers are still one of the harder things for me to use/do, but it’s been so difficult being away from you all for the past few weeks!
On Thursday, Jeff and I are heading up north for a wedding and then flying to San Francisco and SLO for a week. I can’t believe that August 1st marked two whole years since we moved to Blacksburg and this upcoming trip will also be the first time we’ve been back to SLO in over two years–how is that even possible!
To commemorate the start of our third year here in VA, and in conjunction with RelayRides, a a peer-to-peer sharing rental car company, I wanted to put together a list of all of the “hidden” gems I’ve discovered so far in Blacksburg. I say “hidden” because to locals, they’re all probably old news, but to us, these are the places/events that have made Blacksburg such a fun place to discover.
I put together three categories to highlight these gems: events, places, and food. If you click on each underlined title, it will take you to the detailed posts!
1. Fork & Cork
4. Up on the Roof
(a fun event the last Thursday of the warmer months–hopefully will get a post up soon!)
2. 622 North
