Happy Monday, friends!
How was your weekend? I spent most of Sunday in Super Bowl prep mode and since we pretty much just made some old standards, I thought I’d just share what we ended up cooking/assembling: basically lots and lots of dips! And I’m glad I spent so much time on the food since the game was such a huge let down. Since my 49ers lost, I wasn’t majorly invested in the game anyway, but I was hoping the Broncos would pull it off. But definitely no such luck in that game!
Luckily, we had these things (+ the delicious creations from others) to keep us occupied:
1. Hummus (without tahini–too expensive!)
2. Guacamole, since no party is complete without it.
5. Homemade Foccacia –> using the bread machine. I’m hoping to tweak the recipe soon to share!
I also tried to cut up lots of cukes and carrots to use as dippers instead of solely relying on chips–God knows I eat enough of them on a daily basis!
Here’s to a cleanse week after that!
