Happy Monday, everyone!
I hope you had a wonderful weekend–or are still enjoying it, like me! It was so nice to know that I really didn’t have to get much done yesterday since I had an extra day to get all of the usual end of the weekend tasks accomplished. That usually includes getting together a few posts to start off the week, but I got a little caught up in football yesterday to even accomplish that.
And speaking of football, this smoothie is really for all of you who might have woken up a little bitter and disappointed this morning, myself included (49ers fan born and raised!). But instead of heading to eat a pastry or pick up breakfast as a way to make up for the disappointments of yesterday, this little concoction is a perfect way to indulge without most of the calories. I’d say all, but let’s get real–it has two kinds of dark chocolate and peanut butter!
I’m also off to the dentist as soon as I finish writing, and while I’m not sure this is exactly the kind of thing one should eat before getting their teeth inspected, it sure was worth it. Here’s to jump starting a great week!
Double Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie
1/2 cup non-fat plain Greek yogurt
1 tablespoon peanut butter
1 square (1 ounce) dark chocolate
8 ounces dark chocolate almond milk
Place all ingredients in a blender and pulse to combine.
Time: 5 minutes
