I thought we might possibly get our first real snow of the season yesterday afternoon/evening but no such luck. I want it one way or the other: warm or snow–enough of the these cold, icy days. Although, the day I took these pictures (Sunday), it was decently warm at about 50 degrees (what is the world coming to that I know think this is warm??).
So, on our way home from the grocery store, Jeff and I stopped by a trail we hadn’t been to for awhile to snap a few wintery nature photos before heading home to change into our 49ers football gear.
I’ve been practically living in flats these days because it’s taken nearly this long for my calves/quads to not cramp up after wearing heels or even wedges because of the marathon. Plus, now that I have my UP, I want to get all of the steps in I can!
I purchased these jeans from Gap the other day when I noticed a huge hole in my wardrobe: skinny jeans. I had a gift card and with a 30% off promo, they were completely free! I love the feel/stretch, but the smell is god awful. I washed them and left them outside overnight, but it’s still as strong as ever. I’d use fabric spray/softener, but I’m allergic, so I’m hoping it will go away soon.
I topped off the outfit with my favorite accessory, a scarf. This one was handmade by a friend as a birthday/Christmas gift, and I’m in love with the mix of blue hues + softness. Perfect for a Sunday walk!
