I’d hoped to be back with a new recipe today, but I’ve been putting my new cookbooks to good use these past few days and haven’t made anything even slightly creative. My parents gifted me Mollie Katzen’s latest vegetarian cookbook The Heart of the Plate, and I’m obsessed with it: caramelized onion + brown rice + lentil burgers are on the menu for tonight!
Since I was taking the week off during the official new year, I also wanted to take a step back and look at a few of my favorite recipes I made in 2013. Now, these may not my most popular recipes nor the most viewed, but they’re ones that have definitely become staples in our household.
