Jeff and I both received many fun food & kitchen related things for Christmas including an Edible Chemistry Kit (perfect for the resident chemist!), a mandoline, my fav Weck Jars, and lots of fun spices. But one of my favorite gifts were these chalkboard labels from my mother.
Earlier this year, I had painted most of the mason jars in the pantry with chalkboard paint, but I still had quite a few jars left that I either I couldn’t paint or just didn’t want to.
These labels peel and stick to the jar and create a chalkboard-like surface to write on with basic, kid-friendly chalk. I love the cute shape and the fact that you can keep re-writing on them, since I’m constantly changing what’s in my pantry.
Plus, they’re currently on sale for $3.99 (from $9.95) for a set of 12 on Williams-Sonoma (with free shipping!). I just ordered myself another set to have some handy for my ever increasing pantry!
I can’t wait to see how they hold up after a few washings, but for now, they’re perfect!
