Happy Friday, everyone!!
Wow, this week has flown by! I’ve had so much going on lately, I feel like I haven’t even been able to take a moment to breathe. You know, training for a marathon, studying for the GRE next week, choir rehearsal/performance, talking to you all here, and, of course, my real job… Things are a little out of hand at the moment!
I’m doing my best not to get too stressed, especially since I have my longest run of my training on Saturday: 20 miles! As crazy as 20 miles sounds, it does keep me somewhat grounded because I have to be in the right mindset in order to make it happen. Stress just isn’t going to get me to that finish line!
If you’re looking for a little stress reliever yourself (and live in Blacksburg, VA), you should think about spending your Friday night in church listening to a choir concert–we’ve been working hard, and it should be a beautiful performance!
Meanwhile, I thought I’d leave you this week with my two looks from last weekend’s festival. It was a humid 75 degrees on Saturday, so I dug out my Gap polka dot frayed shorts and paired it with a sheer black Old Navy tank and a much needed hat.
It was slightly cooler the next day, so I went with this outfit. I almost never wear black because of my pale skin, but somehow, black + white was the theme of the weekend for me. Go figure.
Hope you all have a fun + relaxing + stress free weekend folks!!
