This is kind of one of those non recipes recipes, but I loved it so much I just had to share. Do you ever roll out your pizza dough, place it on a round baking sheet and have some extra dough hanging off the side? This happens pretty much every time for me. Well, that or I don’t roll it out enough because I’m lazy…
But when I do manage to roll it out large enough, I’ve taken to cutting off the excess edges to make breadsticks to munch on while I finish the rest of the pizza. Breadsticks are really the best part about pizza anyway, no? So when I just happened to have a container full of olive bar feta cheese + green stuffed olives + kalamata olives + olive oil, I was pretty darn excited for pizza night.
To assemble these beauties, I simply twisted the pizza dough into breadstick form, coated them with olive oil, sprinkled my fav parmesan garlic seasoning and then pressed in the goodies. Carbs are a woman’s best friend, right?
