This is definitely an aptly titled outfit because I’m not sure I could get away with it with fall on the CA central coast! I’m kinda in love with it though. I bought this a-line skirt a few years ago on super sale at Loft, and it’s definitely been a go-to in my wardrobe since it pairs so well with casual or dressy looks and can warm up with tights in the winter.
The plaid flannel button-up was a BR purchase from last winter (last seen here). I love the lumberjack feel of it (Jeff actually has a matching one!), but it still looks feminine enough to pair with a skirt. The belt I was a little iffy about and would have liked the result a bit better if I’d noticed it had slipped down as I was taking the photos…oops! It’s still a fun dividing element–and it adds a little much needed bling!
On a side note, there won’t be a Friday post yet again tomorrow. Between marathon training and work, I basically have no life and never leave the house except to go do those two things… I wish I had something to share, but until this training thing is over, I’m not sure I’m going to have a life anytime soon!
So if you don’t hear from me again, have a wonderful weekend!
