Happy Friday, everyone!
I know I haven’t been around regularly on Fridays lately, but I’m trying to get back on track! It’s not for a lack of Blacksburg dining out love either, though we’ve basically been sticking to our standards lately, or you know, being responsible and staying in. But two weekends ago, after a lovely 12 mile run (14–the most I’ve ever run–this weekend!!), Jeff and I decided to head to brunch downtown at Boudreaux’s.
I was first attracted to Boudreaux’s because of it’s amazing rooftop patio, and didn’t even glance at the menu. We went there to watch the 4th of July parade and have since been to people watch whenever we can. I love going out to brunch too–something seems so wonderfully indulgent about spending money on breakfast foods at lunch time.
Jeff got a classic biscuits & gravy (not sure there are really any biscuits under there!), which looked and tasted fantastic. Yes, I snuck a bit–shh.
I got the eggs Florentine with my favorite: poached eggs. It was also delicious, but could have used a bit of sauce to tie it all together.
You can read more about Boudreaux’s on their website here. Have a wonderful weekend everyone!!
