After just over a year in Virginia, we’re finally checking off some milestones. Some of them are good milestones and some of them are just proof that things are getting back to normal, like Padfoot catching her first Virginian bird. I’m not sure I’m really too excited about her getting back into her old hunting habits, but at least that means she’s finally feeling comfortable in her new surroundings!
And, of course, some things are business as usual like PF following me wherever I go, including into photo shoots. Since she kept ruining ever shot I tried to take, I decided to just make her part of the outfit. And she loved every second of it, as you can imagine. A perfect accessory, no?
I’m also extremely excited to be starting work again because I finally get to get some use out of a few end of the year work items I bought on sale and have been sitting in my closet all summer, like this salmon-y blazer. I saw it popping up on a few fashion blogs in the spring and starting stalking it to see if the price would drop. I ended up getting on sale + an additional 40% off + free shipping which brought the total down to less than $20. Not bad for a fun work staple!
