I’m so excited to finally be able to share some of these photos from my sister’s wedding with you! As many of you know, my sister got married at the end of June in a gorgeous resort wedding in Keystone, Colorado.
I was lucky enough to be able to choose my own bridesmaid dress (thanks, sis!), so I began my search where all good bridesmaid dresses go to die: eBay. I snagged a navy Watters dress for $25, but when I finally received it in the mail, the fit was off just enough to make me nervous. As in, it looked great when I was just standing, but if I lifted my arms, the ended dress slide down to my waist–not something anyone wanted to see! Plus, the dress seemed just a bit too fancy for the outdoor wedding, but I put it my closet and hoped for the best.
Fast forward a few months, and I just happened to come across a clearance dress at Ann Taylor during a visit to Alexandria. I grabbed it, thinking it wouldn’t hurt to try it on, and fell completely in love–it was perfect! It ended up being $75, but worth the comfort and more laid back style (no accidents possible!).
I shared my shoe search with you all, but eventually ended up using my old Nine West silver heels which unfortunately, killed my feet the entire ceremony. Thank god my Mom packed a pair of glittery flip flops! For accessories, I wore these gorgeous silver drop earrings my sister gave me as a wedding gift, a hammered silver + gold cuff bracelet from Jeff’s grandma, and my go-to BeeGee Bags clutch.
This is one of my favorite photos from the night: my parents, Jeff + I, and my sister + new brother-in-law ready to dance the night away in celebration!
