I was out a bit late last night–no, not downtown for once, but doing hanging out at the middle school track! So, I apologize that this post is going to be shorter than normal, but sleep is definitely in my very near future…
Anyway, I purchased this pink peplum shirt at Target a month or so ago and then immediately jumped online and snagged another one in black/white while also getting this dress. It’s definitely a bit more on the extreme side of peplum, but I love the color combo and how the peplum balances out my broad shoulders.
I’ve had these white skinny/cropped jeans from Gap forever, and I am dreading the day when I permanently stain them or wear them out. They’re one of my favorite staples and immediately dress up an outfit while also maintaining casual comfyness–a necessity, of course.
Since the peplum shape itself is already such a dramatic look, I balanced out the outfit with my simple but crazy nude high strappy sandals to keep the look streamlined and not just plain crazy.
Have you jumped on the peplum train at all yet?
