Happy Friday folks!
On one of my many 3-day weekends last month, Jeff and I headed to brunch at a restaurant we had wanted to check out for awhile: Lefty’s Main Street Grille. Like always, I had scoped out the menu and found many goodies I was dying to try.
According to their website,
Lefty’s is a cozy restaurant located in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Blacksburg, Virginia. Lefty’s staff is dedicated to serving fresh, homemade, inspired cuisine that appeals to all of our customers. While the fusion of flavors is paramount to a successful meal, we also spend a great deal of time creating dishes that have interesting and complimentary colors and textures.
California native Frank Perkovich opened Lefty’s Main Street Grille in April, 2004. Lefty’s namesake is an homage to the people who have used their ‘other’ hand to make their mark on life, illustrated by the pictures of famous ‘lefties’ that line the walls. Frank aspired to offer Blacksburg a menu with fresh, imaginative food which looks good and taste great at a reasonable price
The setting is definitely cozy, but because of the snow, we had the place almost to ourselves. We both ended up ordering the Guacamole Burrito with scrambled eggs, tomato, black beans, onions, bell peppers, homemade guacamole, and cheddar cheese.
Delicious! We will definitely be back to try more again soon!
