Wow, what a month–I cannot believe it’s already over! I know I probably say that every time, but this month seriously flew. I started working 3 part time jobs, got hired as a full time teacher, quite 2.5 part time jobs, bought a new car, made my first soup of the season, all while trying to explore and learn a new area. But I really wouldn’t change a thing!
And to kick off October, I’ll be heading back to California for a quick visit for my cousin’s wedding!
Here are a few things that took over as my september obsessions.
1. Lundberg Wasabi Rice Chips. I discovered these at our local health food store and bought them on a whim for a snack. I used to love Trader Joe’s wasabi peas, so these were right up my alley. Plus, they’re gluten-free and vegan!
2. Joss & Main. I’ve had so much fun decorating our new townhouse over the past (almost 2!) months and Joss & Main has been an endless source of inspiration and shopping as I drooled over way too many domestic goodies. If you haven’t heard of it, it’s essentially one of those “flash sales” websites with discounted finds from linens to kitchenwares to furniture. I haven’t bought anything yet, but I’m sure it’s only a matter of time!
3. Horizon Chocolate Milk Cartons. Yep, I still eat like a 3 year old sometimes–my parents even got me a package of these for christmas one year! They’re really the perfect pick-me-up when I’ve had a crazy day or need a nostalgic snack. Add a toasted bagel with cream cheese, and I’m ready to take on anything!
4. My car. Sorry, couldn’t resist. Isn’t she a beaut? Kitty likes her too.
Here’s to my first east coast fall!
