Hope everyone had a lovely, fun-filled weekend! It was another gorgeous weekend here on the central coast. Despite having to work one day, I still feel like I packed in a lot of activities–long runs on this trail, saw The Artist at my favorite local theatre, enjoyed a little retail therapy, scored free Firestone gear and hung out with friends at Spikes, watched The Oscars, and made a few yummy things I can’t wait to share with you!
A few weeks ago, I told you how Cowboy Cookie is a must for any shift at The Sock Drawer. Another one of my favorite places to grab a quick bite of real food to eat is at an Italian restaurant called Giuseppe’s. Giuseppe’s has two real restaurants in SLO and in Pismo Beach, but they also have a little market-like set-up attached to their main restaurant that caters to the grab and go crowd.
At the market, you can order gelato, salads, macaroni and cheese, and my usual choice–pizza by the slice. They have all of their pizzas in a case for you to choose from and once you order a slice, they re-heat the pizza in the oven. My go-to is a slice of their Pizza Margherita–it’s a generous slice for $3.50 and absolutely delicious!
You can check out more about Giuseppe’s on their website here.
